The Downloads Have Moved By Sco on 1/25/2005 5:37 PM
Sco's Ramblings
To keep this site more in line with it's original purpose, I've moved the "developer stuff" off of this site and over to my new DNN site, dnn.ScoBiz.com. You can find the descriptions and downloads of the third-party modules we are using over there.

We are starting a Developer Seminar series titled Great Xpectations - Countdown to Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2005. This will be a series of presentations on the two new products Microsoft will be releasing in the next year and will be presented by experts from Microsoft and the Rocky Mountain technology Community. The first one is on Jan 20th - Overview of VS 2005 presented by Joe Mayo and Rod Stephens and more details are at http://msevents.microsoft.com/cui/eventdetail.aspx?culture=en-US&eventid=1032267034&x=5&y=10.

There is an XBox drawing as well as MS Press books. I look forward to seeing you there.

DNN Module Access Data Providers By Sco on 12/19/2004 7:22 PM
Sco's Ramblings

For those of you into DNN that are using Access for your database, check out our growing list of previously SQL Server only modules now with an Access provider.

Many, many thanks go to my new friend, William Crisafulli (www.crisafulli.org). He has been doing a lot of good work writing Access providers. It is because of William that we have the calendar, blog, and download modules working on this site. These modules can be downloaded from his site, and as he gives his blessing, from our site. (See our Downloads page for information about these modules.)

I just can’t thank William enough for all of his work.

Visual Studio Team System Presentation Ashwin Karuhatty 12/8/2004 12:27 PM
Ashwin

I presented to the Denver .NET User Group at their November meeting on Visual Studio Team System. The response has been very good and there seems to be a lot of interest in the product and the features included.

We also chatted about having a Hands On Lab (HOL)event sometime in February. I am all for it and would love to host and help more developers get Hands-On experience. Would you want this? Would you be interested in a SQL Server 2005 HOL? How about Smart Clients around Office technologies? We can get these HOLs to the User Group members if there is enough interest. I would love to see your comments and feedback.

This website is for the community and by the community. Please take advantage of this to build a collaborative community of developers and IT professionals around Microsoft technologies. Thanks to Sco Scofield who helped put together this site and all the hard work he has been doing to keep this running.

I would welcome any feedback on what Microsoft can be doing to help User Groups in the region.

Sco's Ramblings

Welcome user groups, technology presenters, and presentation junkies!

This is your site.

If you are a user group leader or a presenter and are not already listed on our site, please contact me for a user name and password so that you can post your events to the calendar.

If you are looking for a user group meeting, a technology presentation, or if you are a true presentation junkie, the goal of this site is to be your single place to look for what is happening in Colorado.

We currently do not have a webmaster and we are looking for one. If you are interested in this thankless job, please contact me.

For comments about the site or if you would like to volunteer ...
